ICPA 2026 Privacy Notice — Study 1-2-1
1. Who we are
Data controller: Study 1-2-1
Contact: Join@study121.com or Manabu 121 Ltd T/A Study 1-2-1 50 Princes Street, Ipswich IP1 1RJ
2. What information we collect
When a parent or guardian submits an ICPA expression of interest, we may collect the student's name, school, school year and optional ethnicity/cultural background, together with the parent/guardian's name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method and information supplied in the enquiry.
3. Why we use it
We use the information to respond to the enquiry, provide information about ICPA 2026 and its next steps, manage enquiries and maintain appropriate records.
If optional marketing consent is provided, we may also use the parent/guardian's contact details for the marketing purpose described at the point of consent.
4. Ethnicity / cultural background
Ethnicity or ethnic origin is special-category personal data under UK data-protection law. This field is optional. If it is provided, Study 1-2-1 should only process it for the specific diversity-monitoring/planning purpose described on the form and where the appropriate Article 6 lawful basis and Article 9 condition have been established and documented.
The explicit consent checkbox is separate from general enquiry consent. It can be withdrawn. Study 1-2-1 should not use this information for targeted marketing or profiling unless a separate lawful basis and appropriate special-category condition have been established.
5. Children and young people's information
This page is designed so that a parent or guardian provides the primary contact details. Because the form may contain information about a young person, Study 1-2-1 will apply appropriate safeguards and collect only information needed for the stated purposes.
6. Who we share information with
[LIST YOUR ACTUAL PROCESSORS / CRM / EMAIL PROVIDER / FORM PROVIDER / EVENT ORGANISER AND PURPOSES.]
If information is shared with the International Children's Peace Network or another event partner, explain what is shared, why, the relevant legal basis, and any applicable international-transfer safeguards here.
7. How long we keep information
[INSERT YOUR RETENTION PERIOD OR CRITERIA. Avoid keeping enquiry data indefinitely. Explain how long unsuccessful/withdrawn enquiries are retained and how records are securely deleted or anonymised.]
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, individuals may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.
9. Complaints
You can contact us first using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our processing arrangements change. The current version will be published on this page.
